From the first conversation to the final walk-through, you’ll work with our family directly and feel the difference of a builder who treats your home like it matters, because it does.

Jeff Borth is a licensed and insured residential builder who grew up on job sites, learning the craft firsthand from his mother, one of South Carolina’s first licensed female builders. After years of leading large national construction companies, Jeff chose a more personal approach and created J. Alan Homes to deliver a hometown experience where relationships matter, communication stays clear, and craftsmanship always comes first.

Debbie Borth brings a strong blend of real estate expertise, new construction experience, and interior design insight to every project. As a real estate broker, she can guide you through finding the right lot and handling the details all the way through closing, ensuring you start your build on the right foundation. Once the process begins, Debbie stays closely involved, helping clients make confident decisions that balance style, function, and long-term value. With her interior design background, she guides you through selections such as paint colors, flooring, cabinetry, and finishes, making sure everything comes together in a cohesive and thoughtful way.

Hayden Borth serves as the Project Manager, working right alongside Jeff and Debbie to bring fresh energy to each project while carrying forward the company’s strong commitment to quality and care. He oversees every home from pre-construction through completion, coordinating schedules, subcontractors, and inspections to keep projects on track. Hayden ensures that the quality craftsmanship aligns with plans, selections, and specifications. In addition, he ensures full compliance with permits, building codes, and safety regulations, all while upholding J. Alan Homes’ commitment to quality and integrity.
